I had a somewhat shitty week, not realizing how much harder it has become just to fucking submit your jobless claim . . . and this stupidity fucked me up even when I accepted it so, I still let it fuck with my week . . . then yesterday morning I got up early, got on a bus, lined up with the rest before the office opened, and for my bussing and waiting etc couple hours, got the 10 min needed to fill out the form saying I HAVE FUCKING BEEN LAID OFF AND AM DUE MY FUCKING COMPENSATION . . . so updating this site late in part because of this . . . just struggling and vowing to do better . . .

A little late but here is the new issue of The Cenacle. The challenge with June (and December) issues is to create a good new issue in less than two months' time. Since I write several pieces for each issue, that means I need to push hard to write as well as to edit the issue. Fortunately, my pieces are among a much larger number to flesh out the number.
The contents of this new issue include:
* Poetry by Tom Sheehan, Martina Newberry, Judih Haggai, Raymond Soulard, Jr., Nathan D. Horowitz, & newcomer Joe Coleman
* New fixtion by Raymond Soulard, Jr.
* Classic fiction by Philip K. Dick
* 5 Fascinating New Uses For Psychedelics by Sarah Seltzer
* From Soulard's Notebooks commentary
* Notes from New England by Raymond Soulard Jr.
* Secret Joy Amongst These Times: A History of Scriptor Press by Raymond Soulard Jr.
* Travel to Belize journal by Charlie Beyer
* Photography by Kassandra & Raymond Soulard, Jr.
* Photography by Jeremy Kilar
* Artwork by newcomer Baylen Greever
It is especially gratifying to be able to welcome both newcomers & frequent contributors to this issue.
I am currently in the midst of interviewing for four jobs, the best of them is a full-time job, & it looks like I may have landed this one. But no offer yet, to the uncertainty remains. Still, the hope is that four years since Symantec laid me off is finally leading me back to full-time work, & it was the contract jobs in between that have arrived me here. That is the hope . . .

FINALLY, four years plus in the contracting wilderness has ended, I will be offered a full-time job on Monday, a place in Charlestown, as a technical writer, to be initially a one-man team in doing documentation work, the kind of work I have learned to do well over time . . . it is a relief beyond almost anything else . . . finally someone belives in me enough to take me on full-time . . . wow :)
Updated radio page, somewhat late . . . will have to do better with less time hereon . . . also, we have finally added to the main page a link to KD's photo galleries, which will be updated hereon, a wonderful collection already going . . .

Only a month later arrives Cenacle | 83 | December 2012. I am really happy to be concluding this year with four issues once again made & distributed. I think my friend Jim would be happy that I found my feet again to do this work. The new issue's contents include:
* Poetry by Judih Haggai, Joe Coleman, Martina Newberry, Tom Sheehan, & Zannemarie Lloyd Taylor
* Prose essays by Jonathan TALAT Philips, Nathan Horowitz, Charlie Beyer, & Raymond Soulard, Jr.
* "The Tangled Gate" by Raymond Soulard, Jr.
* New fixtion by Raymond Soulard, Jr.
* Classic poetry by Jalalludin Rumi
* Photography by Kassandra & Raymond Soulard, Jr.
Additional to this work, have updated both Labyrinthine & Many Musics to include all of Part Seven of each. And updated radio page for the last show of the year's archive.
Not sure if there will be another entry this year, but it was a good'un in many many ways, & here's to using its good luck in the coming year, for me, KD, & others too wherever possible . . .
