this morning begun this 2004 edition of online notebook, and archived the 2003 volumes…also made links from archived notebooks to main archived notebooks page…funny that again there is a paper version in the relaunched cenacle…and last night added a new guestbook to site, as the other had been spammed to unusability…soon to be adding cenacle | 48 | april 2003 to site, that being of late my focus, catching that periodical up to date and promoting wider with online edition…
my left hand trouble me, and my job in new haven has not still become full-time…my roommate and old friend is sick and that makes me sad…my art lives at all costs, and is often inspired by my kassi and that does much to keep me going… this series of notebooks needs to be linked both to each other and to their different origin pages…heh… new year of work underway…

added section xxxiii, eros, to 6 x 36 nocturnes, VI, #36, lasting...this poem was at least a month in the making & came aburst slowly...first one written to my kassi, she said she liked it :)
most of my energies of late on reviving my literary magazine, the cenacle, & on improving my radio show, 'within's within: scenes from the psychedelic revolution' (webcast on spiritplants radio, http://yage.net:9000 saturday nights 11 pm to 2 am EST, and rebroadcast sunday mornings, 11 am to 2 pm EST)...but this site is perpetually on my mind...as is how to deeper connect my press's many projects...

it's been over a month since i've updated this site but with good reason now on view today...finally finished & uploaded is The Cenacle | 49 | October 2003...took six weeks or so to get this online version ready to put on site...the print version is still not done but this is a happy juncture in the process...
just as cool, finally wrote, & just added here, section xxxiv, twist, to 6 x 36 nocturnes, VI, #36, lasting...it was not as hard to write as last one, came finally with notes at hand & iPod cranking techno then Waterboys at starbucks near here last weekend...fun night, had just seen "lord of rings: return of the king" a second time & dived in deeper happy into it...
leaving this weekend to visit kassi in omaha for a week, should be lots of fun, more time than last to roam the city...see what's there...grok us deeper too :)

The Cenacle | 50 | December 2003 is just now up on site, another six weeks to get an issue done, the last one before i depart the east coast for seattle in less than a week...i came back from a splendid week in omaha with kassi to an abrupt layoff notice from the advocate...sat in a coffeehouse all day deciding my fate was not to be more jobless days of woe in this sorrowful state...since then readying for departure...
along the way i will see kassi again for a weekend, her plans seeking to coincide with my own in place and soon in time too...hope drives us both, along with as much planning & backup planning as can be raised in such a short time...
gonna cost shitlots of bucks, but shipping my beloved if aged macintosh too, not wanting to be without it this time, and determined that this time will work...more to tell when on the other coast...peace til then...

there was a need to fix several files of The Cenacle | 50 | December 2003 that needed fixing, which i finally did a few days ago...i've been working on next issues and jobhunting so this site has otherwise not been dealt with...soon again to more...
so, here i am in seattle, arrived on apr 27th, the next day my first full one here and my 40th birthday...since then, amidst some journeying that blew out old demons, and starting to rouse my pen into grokking its new/old environment, i've been jobhunting...it started hard and kept getting harder...
then today a borders books called, offered me a job...just like that a month of hurry and stress and kissing asses worthy and not ends...my beloved kd coming here soon too...good news in feasts arriving...thank you universe...

i am writing from the home i have been sharing for nearly three weeks now with my beloved KD...not me sleeping on some kindly friend's couch, not me slinking back to Connecticut after a crushing time out west, feeling empty and foolish and embarrassed for loving and trying to live rightly by that love...no, this is my home, i share it with my beloved, we sleep together in each other's arms, make meals, work on scriptor press projects at this computer that has traveled the years and the miles with me for so long now...
work at a local borders books music & cafe goes pretty well, it's steady and the people there are friendly enough...i do bookselling, easy easy, and sometimes work in the cafe, which is new and hard for me but i'm doing what i can to attain competence...seattle is a hardcore coffee-drinking place, one cannot avoid this...
work on burning man books for 2004 proceeds slowly but is going...KD and I spent a recent night compiling three dozen haikus by the japanese master Basho, for one book, and work daily typing at "sunstone," a long poem by Octavio Paz, and also at an essay by Jung on dreams...KD gives over her enthusiasm totally to these projects, it is the universe's free gift to me that she is in my life...i love her truly...
this morning added section xxxv, irruption, to 6 x 36 nocturnes, VI, #36, lasting...this poem came pretty roughshod over the course of several months, and even near its finish several versions were composed before the work was done...i'd like to think more than once a month new items will be added to this site soon, but it happens when it happens, and what is added is always intended to meaningfully augment the rest...so i will say more soon, and i do mean it...
